80CRv2

This is the steel that i make most of my knives from, the “crv” refer to chromium and vanadium that’s added in it’s already high carbon composition in small amounts to help with edge retention and durability.

1080

1080 is another great high carbon steel used by many blade-smiths.

15n20

This is a nickel alloy steel which still has a high carbon composition, 15n20 is generally used along with another steel to create a high contrast when making damascus steel.

Leather

For my, hopefully soon to be your, leather sheaths i use 9-10Oz. vegetable tanned leather hand sewn by yours truly. most of my custom orders usually have leather sheaths.

Kydex

Kydex is a weather proof heat molded polymer which i usually pair with blades like “the hunter” or “the fighter”.

Handle material

most of my handles are made from either wood like Cocobolo, walnut or birdseye maple. the other material i usually use is Micarta, it’s an extremely durable material made from layers of canvas or fiberglass pressed together with epoxy. although I’m always checking out other materials to really get the perfect look for a knife.
